Episode 10 — “Ancient City Insurrection Part II”
Hmm.
Stuff happened around Kyoto and Nara. That’s it for this transitional episode
for Mahouka.
Heh.
Oh, be still Minami’s heart! Minoru is a pure ikemen with wavy hair! The
Kudous agreed to help Tatsuya, the individual, instead of the Yotsuba
clan. Mahouka never has any surprises because its storytelling is
so straightforward. The Ten Master Families have intricate rules about
collusion and cooperation between groups. Minoru is attending his first
year at Second Magic High School, so we might have seen him this year if
Minoru hadn’t frequently had to stay home in bed. He’s the opposite analog
of the super magician experimentation that the Yotsubas put Tatsuya
through. Kyouko is having fun watching these teenagers. Tatsuya still
trots out his brand of ikemen charm in Mahouka.
Minoru knows Nara and potential bases for the Traditionalists, so he’ll
take the Shibas sightseeing. Hoho. Minoru is an early adopter of Silver
Industries’ thought-controlled CAD. Hahaha! Miyuki is in heaven, holding
on to Tatsuya on a moped. Minami enjoys her ikemen moments with Minoru.
Anime says you always need to feed the greedy deer when visiting Nara.
Minami’s flirting can’t match Miyuki’s efforts.
Ah. Mahouka action scene now. An Ancient Magic spell has moved
normies away from the Shiba group. Tatsuya does his usual BAMF thing, but
Minoru has magical skills, too. He took advantage of Tatsuya’s
thought-controlled CAD. Minami is happy that she’ll see Minoru again
soon.
Uh oh. The Saegusas had dealings with Gongjin Zhou, so the clan head
needed to get rid of Zhou before the Yotsubas captured him. Ooh.
Lovey-dovey time for Mizuki and Mikihiko. It’s also oppai jiggle time for
the Mahouka audience. Mikihiko is mad now. He wants to rub the
Traditionalists the wrong way! Magically, of course.
Oh no. Mayumi’s bodyguard lost his fight against Zhou. What will the Saegusas
do now?
