Ren helped Albert's forces defeat the lesser demons through her poisonous talents. Talia treated Albert much differently during the victory celebration tea party. He was mentally strong enough to rebuff Talia's flirtation, but when she shared her alcoholic intoxication through her injury-sharing talent, Albert went off the rails.
