Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi - Episode 2 - Sumireko Squeezes into School Uniform

Sumireko, age 28, has to infiltrate an all-girls junior high school. She might not fit in—to her disguise.

Ren convinced Sumireko to give up using her new "curse" so much. She immediately fell asleep after growing back to the correct size. Thankfully Ren's little sister had a pair of gym shorts to protect Sumireko's modesty. It was harder than it looked for Ren to reclaim that "modesty."

Sumireko is now an oddity like Ren and Oto Adashino. They don't use Curiosities, as Sumireko does, but they can see warning signs of their presence. Ren asked Sumireko to help Oto "solve" a mystery at her school. But the tall and bodaciously statuesque 28-year-old author would have trouble fitting in at Oto's school, much less her school uniform disguise. Ren suggested she use her Curiosity's powers to youthen and shrink herself. That worked! But Oto still doesn't like how "big" her brother's friend is.

The all-girl atmosphere excited Sumireko and made her artistic juices flow, connecting her imagination to yuri-themed plots. Oto's friends, such as Erika, Tamao, and Nodoka, asked to hear all about Oto's senior "friend" in high school. However, a teacher, Manami-sensei, misinterpreted their horseplay and teasing as bullying behavior. Oto's friends said there was no bullying at school, at all, which made things boring and unexciting. Where was the drama?

The drama was in Manami-sensei. Whoever she accused of bullying started to drool and later stayed home from school. Manami-sensei was the source of the supernatural Curiosity.
