The opening credits for Henjin no Salad Bowl (A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics) show the stars of the show: Gifu Prefecture and the cute girls.
Princess Sara da Odin escaped a rebellion by leaping into a portal to another world. She landed on Sousuke Kaburaya as he tailed a mark for his private detective job. Sara easily convinced Sousuke she was a magical girl through exploding park equipment.
Livia de Udis, Princess Sara's bodyguard, dispatched her pursuers and followed the princess to Gifu. She went to the river to wash up, catch fish, and meet a nice homeless man. Livia changed jobs from Lady Knight to Homeless. She's the main source of fanservice for Salad Bowl.
Sara quickly adapted to Gifu as she freeloaded at Sousuke's office. Real-world detectives do not match the fictional versions in Conan's manga.
Sousuke had quit his job at a lucrative detective agency because he still felt he could act as a hero of justice. Sara followed him to a potentially violent situation with thugs and extortion. Sara used her magic but claimed it was "Chinese martial arts." Then, Sousuke showed off his own skills! Can he and Sara be detective heroes together?
Sara got to eat good beef after Sousuke closed his case and received payment. There's motivation to go out and get more jobs. Meanwhile, Suzuki showed Livia how to collect money for her new "Homeless" job. I'm waiting to see Livia wear skimpy outfits at a hostess bar.
The end credits show Sara and Livia in fun moments around Gifu.
