Van the Hero talked with Gideon the Guide in his apothecary shop, and the conversation about Blessings rocked his faith. Ruti stayed out of sight to avoid knocking more teeth out of Van's skull. And then Red invited Van to hunt monsters and rescue children with him. Rit's tracking and Red's skill with inferior weapons showed Van how much his attitude needed adjustment.
