Cid thought the key to turning Rose into the tyrant that would make for the best dramatic entrance of Shadow was showing her how her mother, the queen, had a vigorous affair with the traitorous Pervy Asshat. Epsilon's conversation about The Black Rose incident foreshadowed how things accidentally turned out. Cid dropped the ring key that laid bare her mother's adulterous and traitorous plot but brought down Ragnarok. Now Shadow has another Armageddon-style appearance to save the Oriana Kingdom. The Season Finale is next week!
