Yes. Finally! I’ve been waiting for Onoda’s “whooshing” sound of his crazy high-frequency pedaling. Imaizumi is in the friend zone because he calls Onoda by his first name, “Sakamichi.” Two kilometers to go, the real show starts — Sohoku vs. Hakone. Look! A girl! There are girls in Yowamushi Pedal! The Sohoku cycling club members and helpers are at the finish line. I remember that girl, Aya. She didn’t understand what it meant for Onoda to be THE NATIONAL CHAMPION OF JAPAN. Sadatoki just liked a girl touching him. The other club members brag about Imaizumi and Onoda. But Hakone is coming. Imaizumi’s final orders to Onoda are to go full speed!

Imaizumi’s legs are gone. He’ll have to spend his last energy spoiling Manami and Kuroda. And then it was a two-horse race between Onoda and Manami, like last year.
