The big, black chain Benten usually wears was the stolen item she needed back. At Oyuki's spaceship, the villains sent Benten a ransom note! Ginger, Sugar, and Pepper believe themselves to be the most fearsome girls in the middle school that Benten, Lum, and Oyuki attended. The younger girls want to prove themselves against the older girls.

The reputation that Benten, Lum, and Oyuki carried through junior high was outrageously monstrous. So, Ginger, Sugar, and Pepper proposed a different contest instead of a violent fight. Benten just wanted her chain back. It's her front door key. That was the only reason she wanted it back.
