Dariel shared a steamy moment with Marika in the sauna and a steamier night together when he admitted he loved her. A year later, Dariel is the mayor, the old dwarf smith has died (Mr. Smith's protege handles a successfully growing mithril smithery), and Dariel and Marika have an infant son named Gran. The new Hero, a buxom lass named Reidi, loves children. That's good for Baby Gran because the girl reminded him of his mother's bouncy ample gifts.
