When Ichigo returned from the World of the Living, he quickly chose his zanpakuto. Without a fight! Then Nimaiya's real show started! His female assistants don't respect him, but they have specific jobs for forging swords. It was up to Ichigo to realize the shape of his blade. He met White and Zangetsu in his inner world but realized that the older man was his Quincy essence. Now Ichigo was complete as a fullbringer human, a hollowfied shinigami, and a Quincy. That gave him two zanpakutos!
Ichigo accepted his Quincy heritage, but so did Ishida! Did he become Ichigo's enemy when he joined Yhwach?
The end card shows Ichigo holding his two zanpakutos. They are unique swords instead of the twin blades we see from Captains Ukitake and Kyoraku. See you next summer!
