Rein and Kanade made enough money on adventurers' quests to afford beds at an inn. Kanade preferred the soft bed and bright lamps to a camp in the woods.
Kanade and Rein's first highly rewarding quest dealt with a mysterious enemy blocking traffic on a bridge. Defeated adventurers kept their lips tight about what they faced. They were embarrassed to admit a cute red-headed dragon girl kicked their behinds! Tania was a tough fighter and blew fire! A singed tail made Kanade angry!
Kanade could keep up with Tania physically, but Tania is a dragon girl. If she stopped playing, she could turn into a flying dragon and roast them. Rein came up with a beast-tamer solution: have a flock of poisonous birds peck Tania into paralysis. Kanade took her teasing revenge!
The Dragonoid kids take a trip to test their strength when they hit fifteen. Now that Rein and Kanade stopped her bridge trolling, Tania wants to travel with them. They're fun people! Rein contracted with another Ultimate Species, which means he now has the qualities of a dragon and a cat.
