Fudo and Desumi felt frustrated at not seeing each other for two weeks. The reason was evil organization Gekko was in the middle of building a new secret lair, which meant Gelato Five had no reason to fight the Reaper Princess. Fudo volunteered to infiltrate the secret base and destroy it. Fudo used the mission to have a clandestine date with Desumi! Hiding their time together led to comedy and romance.
