Koharu and Hiyori looked through their family photo albums to learn more about each other. Koharu saw how much Hiyori smiled in her pictures with her dad when they went camping, so she suggested they go on a camping trip with Koi's family. Hiyori taught Koharu more fishing tips, such as fishermen's superstitions and how to hunt fish. Koharu landed her first fish!
Koi helped Koharu grill her first catch. She also gave her perspective on treating parents as people first. That lesson hit home for Hiyori because she saw how much her stepfather enjoyed playing Koi's little twin brothers. Koharu lost her mother and little brother in a car accident, which meant her father also grieved for his small son. Hiyori and Koharu felt they grew closer together. They realized they were gaining family instead of replacing the ones they lost.
