Mieruko-chan - Episodes 3 and 4 - Miko Breathes Easy in Tub

Miko has been feeling stressed from seeing ghosts. She sees them in her dreams, and she can't relax in the bath either.

Miko discovered that cheap Buddhist prayer beads don't protect her from powerful spirits. And sidewalk fortunetellers can't help her either. At least the audience found out that Hana is an angelic girl whose plump chest we must protect.

Miko started having troubling dreams when she started seeing ghosts. Her little brother thought she dreamed about naughty things. Because the sounds she made were similar to aroused panting. The little brother is the dirty-minded one, though.

Miko threw us a curveball in the bath. We thought a creepy ghost rose out of a noxious fart (not really), but she had just fallen asleep in the bathtub. She thought she could relax there.

Unfortunately, there was a ghost in the bathroom. Miko wanted to get out of the tub before the spirit saw her. Then her little brother walked in. She fooled the ghost by scrubbing her little brother's back.

The revelatory twist of the episode was like the one in The Sixth Sense. We had been watching her father interact with the family, but he actually never did. If you look back, you can see that Miko's mother didn't make him breakfast. Miko's father was a ghost! He died recently, which may relate to why Miko suddenly started seeing ghosts.
