Rebecca despaired that Homura and Shiki died, but the guardians explained the beam merely transported them to the labor district of Sun Jewel. Rebecca vowed to break them out.
Homura and Shiki quickly discovered that they needed to collect a gemstone from the creatures inhabiting the mines they found themselves in. Unfortunately for Shiki, the first creatures they found were crystal bugs. Homura needed to dispatch them herself. Then the pair met Madame Kurenai's enforcer of the labor district. He took an unhealthy interest in Homura.
Madame Kurenai rules the planet of Sun Jewel cruelly and sadistically. Her underlings follow her example, and the android police force enforces the laws with no exceptions or judgment. Rebecca knew she needed to extract Shiki and Homura from their prison and allowed the B-Cuber Labilia to humiliate her for information. The only question is whether Shiki and Homura will break out of their confinement zone before Rebecca gets there.
