The hero students returned from their work-study programs feeling confident and sharp. Ochacho was happy to show off her new gear. Then Ashido saw something she kept with her since Christmas. Why would Ochaco keep a little doll of All Might? And why would Ochako want to keep it a secret? Ashido figured it out! There's someone in their class who's a humongous All Might fan! Strangely, it took this long for a classmate to notice a maiden in love.
Speaking of Ochaco's crush, Midoriya was happy to let his classmates know that he learned to control his Black Whip power over the break. Meanwhile, Eraserhead and Present Mic learned that their best friend from their days as hero students had a connection to the superpowered Nomus.
