The night before their last night on their Kyoto school trip, the Nakano sisters appeared to be scheming about how to spend time with Fuutarou on their last full day. Miku was distraught that she couldn't overcome her shyness to tell Fuutarou how much she loves him.
It turned out all the scheming was about how to make Miku spend the whole day with Fuutarou. They found ways to spend time in the shogun era historical and cultural area where Miku was most comfortable and her sisters sneaked around to provide certain items to help her love confession. Immediately after telling Fuutarou how she felt, she also pointed at her sisters who were not as great at sneaking around as they thought.
After all that, Ichika said goodbye to her feelings for Fuutarou with a kiss on the cheek, or did she? Fuutarou was finally got his group shot of the sisters when they fell asleep on the train back home.
So, who did Fuutarou end up with? The producers announced a sequel, whether that's a series of OVA's, movie, or another season is up to debate, but this anime hints heavily that it's Itsuki. We'll see about that, but there's a certain amount of closure if the first Nakano quintuplet he met becomes the last one he sees every night.
