Elsa the sharpest blade fought Garfiel the strongest shield so Subaru could rescue Frederika, Petra, Rem, and Beatrice. The blonde fairy was still difficult to convince to leave her secret library this time around, but it feels like Subaru made progress quicker.
Emilia moved quickly through her trial of an unthinkable present. Echidna tempted Emilia with a happy family life with Fortuna and a sane Betelgeuse, but Emilia knew in her actual life she met even more people who loved her and protected her. Echidna already knew Emilia would not waver after how she endured the trial of the past, so she's not happy that she still needs to go through the motions. Meanwhile, Ram and Puck inhabit another battlefield within the Sanctuary to stop Roswaal from unleashing an ice storm on his mansion.
