Inari came to see what was inside the ice fortress Akira's brother Yui made. She liked finding a frozen Inugami.

This whole arc with ice boys Akira and Yui has to do with a powerful life stone that is the source of the snow woman village's power. Yui stole it, came to get Akira, and the darn icy stone has the same shape as Kabane's stone that represses his demonic hunger. That's nice and all, but the important thing was that the beautiful Inari became involved because another life stone was out in the open for her to steal.
