Tatsuya meets a parasite through Pixie the robot. The Stars under Angie Sirius attempt to capture Tatsuya.

Hmm.

Mahouka gave us another fanservice-filled episode. That is, if you’re a fan of Tatsuya the stoic harem master and the unstoppable human weapon. The first half was full of Honoka revealing the depth of her feelings for Tatsuya through the words and actions of a robot possessed by a parasite. There was lots to glean from how these beings operate through a simple conversation. People should try this more often.

The second half of Mahouka let us see the god-mode abilities Tatsuya has in his game of magicians vs. magicians. Letting us see how he views the world as information that he’s always backing up makes it seem more mundane than the first season, but that whole part of Tatsuya’s story was about how mysterious he was. He still is mysterious to Japan’s enemies and competitors, so Mahouka makes the point that Tatsuya’s strongest enemies will be the ones who know him best.

Interesting. Virginia wants Angelina to go back to bothering Tatsuya instead of pursuing the demon deserters. She received an enchanted weapon for her quest to capture or kill Tatsuya. Uh, I mean, a superweapon. The Brionac. Tatsuya will show up the Americans again.

Back to the maid robot. The crude model in the back warns us that we’re about to have some laughs. Ha. The robot maid’s name is Pixie. Why should the engineering club call Tatsuya to investigate magic energy coming out of a robot? Is it because they already know his genius status for founding the Silver magic tech company? Pixie was a bad robot. She kept accessing school records until the server shut her down.

Whoops! Pixie found who she was looking for! Tatsuya! Big hug! Honoka was never this brave. Kanon says the right thing, “Shiba is even popular with robots.” Hohoho. Look at the glaring and pouting going on over here! This is gold. Miyuki accuses Tatsuya of a hobby of playing with dolls! Mizuki confirmed the parasite is inside Pixie. The thing made the robot smile when it doesn’t have those capabilities. And the parasite has the same thought patterns as Honoka! Oh, it copied Honoka’s “feelings” patterns. Her love emotions burned themselves into the parasite. The parasite explains they don’t retain the memories of their previous hosts’ personalities. Pixie the Parasite wants to belong to Tatsuya. We got that. Terrible! She’s confessing her utter devotion to him because that’s how Honoka feels! Poor Honoka. Such pure love! Tatsuya now owns a robot maid in love with him. Because of course he would.

Alright. Now it’s time for Tatsuya’s set action piece with the Stardust unit and Angie Sirius. Five against one. Tatsuya won’t even break a sweat. Ah. The Stardust guys are enhanced magicians. Showtime! The Americans authorized Sirius to use her strategic-class magic against Tatsuya. The Brionac spell was too complicated for Tatsuya to analyze and dispel it before it hit him. Ouch. He lost an arm. And he got it back. And he repaired his mangled hand a second time. Then he defeated everyone else and “healed” Angelina too. What a guy.

Tatsuya prevented an international incident and still had time to pick up Miyuki from her music lessons on time. And she got onii-sama headpats too! Busy night. Plus, Angie Sirius found herself high and dry and she still has no idea how Tatsuya’s magic works. Overwhelming victory.
