The opening credits showed us all the great characters we met in the first season. There's a hint that Rin might finally join the camping club for a trip.
A younger Rin decided to take up camping after receiving some camping gear hand-me-downs from her grandpa. Her father took her on her first day camp experience, where she put up a tent, learned how to build a fire, and tried campfire cooking. Her curry rice didn't turn out so well, but her mom packed her some instant curry cup ramen just in case.
In a nice "fated moment," Yuru Camp∆ showed Rin and a young Nadeshiko look at Mount Fuji at the same time.
Fast forward to todays winter break and the friends of the camping club work part-time jobs to buy new camping gear. Chiaki found out that her job, working at a liquor store, did not have any days off, which was different than her friends. She was heartened to hear that they would all be bringing her souvenirs from their little trips.
Rin planned out her next camping trip, trying to decide about what food she should try. Referencing that "fated moment," Rin ran into Nadeshiko as she made her way to her campsite. Nadeshiko offered Rin some curry cup ramen, reminding her of a nice memory from her first camping trip.
