Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! - Episode 5 - Uzaki Catches Sakurai Sleeping

Uzaki's smug smile at catching Sakurai violently wake up shows she found something new to tease Sakurai about.

Uzaki's energy is a lot for Sakurai to take in first thing in the morning. She's worried about Sakurai playing NyaaCraft without her and changing things around in her Uzaki Hills dream house. Later, Uzaki catches Sakurai waking from a dream and their next class together discusses dream interpretation. Sakurai is skeptical of universal symbols.

Uzaki claims she believes in all those personality test things and trips down the stairs! Sakurai scares her by planting a suggestion of a new fear of staircases. Sakurai's friend Itsuhito finally made his official debut and introduced himself to Uzaki. He swears he's going to get those two together, so Sakurai should choose whether he wants a sweet summer romance or a passionate summer fling. Itsuhito has his work cut out for him.

Sakurai and Uzaki blow Itsuhito's obvious attempts of sparking romance, but it was an ambush from Ami who drew surprise. She's firmly behind the idea of observing and rooting for the oblivious couple from afar. Itsuhito thinks he should get up in all their business to shake things up. They're at an impasse, which should provide some behind-the-scenes comedy as they prevent each others' strategies.

Uzaki went on a five minute rant about choco-mint flavor things, even drawing applause from the crowd. She's very loud, if you haven't figured that out by now. The whole point of this was to get to an indirect kiss punchline.

    1. I am, but look for posts to show up sporadically. My other hobby is watching professional bicycle racing, and its season just reopened from the COVID-19 lockdowns in Europe. They are trying to cram 6 months of racing into 3 months! I'm budgeting my eyeball time, with focusing my anime blogging on 5 shows a week, since they also require writing and editing here and at J-List's blog. Thanks for appreciating my posts. I appreciate so much my regular readers.
