Nanatsu no Taizai - Kamigami no Gekirin - Episode 21 - Elizabeth with Young Merlin

Merlin flashed back to a memory of the goddess Elizabeth comforting her as demon child. Technically, Merlin is still a 3,000 year old demon child.



Merlin saved Arthur before the Ten Commandments killed him. Excalibur had chosen him, but he still wasn't ready to fight the demons of the Ten Commandments. Caith Sith was very angry and disappointed that Arthur hadn't yet achieved his potential.

Arthur's story was literally put on ice, or stasis, since then next Holy War was about to start. That meant new fighting outfits for Diane, Escanor, and Merlin.
