Who could refuse udon from a pretty girl like Uruka dressed like a magical girl? Nariyuki couldn't.
Fumino made the accidental prince a hit with her ad lib, but then the greater mystery began of who she gave her first kiss to. It wasn't Asumi. Meanwhile, Mafuyu's boring lecture drew a large crowd because of how she joined the swimming club in the idol concert.
Rizu still needed to sell a lot of bowls of udon. The mystique of the masked prince brought the curious over, but it was Nariyuki's idea of selling a "couples" bowl to give people an excuse to stand next to each other to watch the legendary first fireworks.
Rizu thanked everyone for their help. Afterwards, it wasn't clear who Nariyuki was touching when the fireworks show started. It became clear much later.
Everyone came to see Uruka go off to Australia for her swimming career. Nariyuki added the usual drama of being late.
So, did that legendary fireworks jinx work? Well enough for the childhood friend to win the harem sweepstakes! The manga is ongoing and hasn't gotten to the anime's epilogue, so it must be a wild ride before we see that Uruka got her man Nariyuki.
