It was very much expected that demons would attack the school festival. It's also expected that they would attack the clothes on Valkyries like Natsuki too.
The Valkyries saw the school festival as a great opportunity to level up, since this world has a dating sim leveling system instead of the usual RPG template. Yakumo was first up on a "date" by touring the grounds, including Natsuki's maid cafe. Of course, Takuma spilled something all over Yakumo, and she brought out her dominatrix side by making him clean it up with his tongue.
Misa and Kururi visited the haunted house with Takuma, but elder sister Misa was the one who had to comfort both of the younger kids. Unfortunately for Misa, a live eel got free, and Takuma needed to extract it from Misa's clothes. The sporty Misa wears some fancy underwear when she's in date mode. Nobody but the audience realized that, though.
And then it was time for the action scenes mixed in with ACTION scenes. As Ichika and Natsuki defended the barrier zone where the big demons were separated from the real world, those scary demons did a lot of tentacle grape on Itsuyo and Mutsumi. It's all a spoiling action until Takuma can break free as the bad guy battles Futaba wearing glasses. That Garm guy is in trouble now.
