Beelzebub had a lot of fun at her first cherry blossom viewing party. Mullin helped.
The first part of the episode referenced the first episode visually as well as by content. Beelzebub's sleeping sweater was her first present from Mullin, so it's a big deal to keep it in one piece. The eye catch calls back to the
first episode too!
The KFC themed (nice product placement) sakura viewing lunchtime party turned out to be a nice way break down some preconceptions about our side characters. Morrigan the succubus looks like goofy fun to hang out with. Caim too! And adorable Belphegor finally got to taste Azazel's cookies. The whole experience of one dainty bite was too much for her pure heart. Small steps!
The epilogue had Beelzebub's department having their own cherry blossom viewing party. The dudes didn't join their bosses in trying to catch falling petals, but they got a nice precious show to go with their free beer. Such fluffy and thoughtful bosses, that Beelzebub and Mullin.
