La Hire may have mercenary tastes, but she also loves cute little girls. She was especially weak to Astaroth and Jeanne. Still, she was paid to protect the village and she did that under overwhelming odds.
There were just too many English soldiers, but Montmorency used the Philosopher's Stone, his drool converted into Elixir, and a transformed Jeanne to defeat the them. Jeanne, under the influence of the Ulysses power, challenged La Hire to a duel. La Hire was only saved by her deep cleavage and Jeanne's berserker powerup running out of time.
