The kids went to fancy party and Alec was asked to dance by a literal Prince Charming.
Everyone dressed up formally for this fancy party that Kaoru somehow was involved in. The big surprise was seeing Alec, Teresa, and Charles there too. I'm guessing Kaoru's family restaurant catered it, but who knows?
Charles' cover story in Japan was that he was a childhood friend of Teresa, but he's actually her fiance for an upcoming royal wedding. Alec and Charles appear to have a deeper connection than just growing up together with Teresa.
Hajime entertained himself by following around a bouncy lady. Hinako followed him around just to make sure he didn't get in trouble. Yeah, sure.
