Issei goes to Kyoto for his school trip but gets involved in a plot at the Fox Spirit shrine.

life.02 - "School Trip, Abrupt Attack"

Hmm.

There are three things to pay attention to in this first story arc. One, Issei can meditate and talk with past bearers of his sacred gear. This is news to me, but he even got a key from the current Beelzebub (he's a big deal) to unlock "his potential." Apparently, his potential likes running around making people squeeze other people's chests.

Two, the main dramatic plot concerns a missing Fox Deity (Oinari-sama, I'm sure), which accounts for the two blonde fox spirit looking women in the opening credits. Loli fox with only 6 tails immediately suspected "outsiders" and attacked Issei and his group.

Three, Issei got his own room. Really. I'm telling you, this is important. Harem King hijinks need privacy, and on his first night he already got the Valkyrie Virgin naked and alone in there. See? Important!

I never saw this in the other seasons of DxD, but Azazel told Issei he needs to purge the negative emotions collected in his Red Dragon Emperor armor and infuse it with his own personality. Meditation shows that there's a lot of people who have used the sacred gear before and they all seem really out of it.

Exposition time. Oinari-sama is missing! I'm figuring the 9-Tail fox deity is named this. They always are. That's why loli fox attacked the "outsiders," but chibi fox spirit should have wondered how they were able to walk around sacred ground.

So, they think Chaos Brigade is responsible for the disappearance. Obviously there's going to be something way more convoluted than that.

Next time, heroes throw a party, or something. Man, I hope we see a flashback of the four Demon Lords dressed as Power Rangers.

It's Asia's turn in the eye catches to get us ready for the NSFW "action" sequences.

First of the "action" scenes, it was all about Rossweisse. I've been waiting a long three years to see her naked in anime form. Did not disappoint. This Valkyrie Virgin should not have a problem getting a boyfriend if she keeps her mouth shut about how much things cost. Also, Rossweisse may brag about her sweat suit being only 980 yen, but that fancy lingerie was not found in the bargain bin.

And then, hot bath boobie wrestling! It hasn't been established for sure whether the other girls' boobs can be used as Issei's Juggernaut Drive switch, so this is a very important discussion. Why are Rias' boobs so special? Not the size, but the shape? Akeno requires closer inspection.
