The girls made a big mistake in asking for Zero Two for help in "fighting" the boys in the dormitory.

A klaxosaur sprayed the Franxx with a liquid that melted only the plug suits. This led to ogling, which led to Miku overreacting.

Like many sitcoms, the girls taped a line dividing their living space in half, which led to many reprisals, unforeseen circumstances, and escalations. It got totally out of hand when Zero Two jumped in as a double agent with her own agenda: chaos!

In the end, it wasn't too bad of an adventure because she Hiro got a little closer as friends and colleagues.
