Mai became Hazuki's replacement on the magical girl team. She was able to transform readily enough.
Mai's magical costume certainly shows a lot of her... talent! Her talent for witchcraft, that is.
Not being involved in the witch world anymore meant that Hazuki could wear a nice dress to a Christmas party. Whatever she wanted to do, her stepsister Misa would support it.
Mai featured nicely in the end card.
