Eren uses a sword style where the hilt can also block an opponent's attack.

The main character's best friend Mai looks a lot more interesting to me than a genki tomboy middle school girl.

The main draw of this show is how all the young girls display different sword techniques with their sword styles. Also, they fight monsters only sword wielding young girls can fight. It's one of THOSE anime.

I wasn't too impressed with the premise of the show, but some of the girls are much more mature looking than their supposed junior high ages. I may end up just scanning the show for certain characters' scenes.
