Here are some scenes from my river trail loop on 9/23/2017.
This was a rather windy day, so going south on the San Gabriel River Trail was a bit frustrating because I felt like I was going fast, but my cruising speed was slower than what I thought.
I was happy to find the flooded path between the Rio Hondo and Santa Anita Wash trails was dried out. It was still very silty from its bath, though.
And that group that I passed and enlisted Big Mike to join me for a breakaway was on the path too, but I saw them coming from the other side. That really was a big long line!
