Kikyou thought she could share a close moment with Ayanokouji after the island exam was over, but no such luck with the noncommittal stoic.
Airi always seems to be near Ayanokouji. We know why.
A series of flashbacks explained the other classes' strategy in wining the points contest. Everyone seemed to forget, except Ayanokouji, just how important the penalty clause of guessing another class leader wrong was. All bonus points get subtracted.
Sae-Sensei appears to want to milk the hidden genius Ayanokouji for class points. Perhaps the teachers get some benefit from this points contest too.
Suzune awkwardly thanked Ayanokouji for arranging the victory so she could take credit and gain allies. He's not doing so for humanitarian or even friendly reasons. He needs her to be stronger so he can win. But win what? There's much more story to tell in this Machiavellian Lord of the Flies tale.
All the pretty girls showed up for the end card, but I've already forgotten the blonde popular girl from Class D. Who needs her when we have Kikyou, Suzune, Ichinose, and Airi? The handicapped co-leader of Class A didn't have enough screen time to make an impression, but I'm sure a future next season will feature her more.
