Gourai struggled against the new "Alter" form that Hresvelgr got. Out of control nanomachines became a virus, and the real big bad villain before the season ends.
The Materia sisters envisioned a different kind of "relaxation" for Ao at the public bath.
Gourai had become overly anxious and protective after Hresvelgr physically threatened Ao. A trip to a public bath, and an onsen in a modified Session for the FA Girls, was the stress reliever they all needed.
The anime convention that naked skinship allows for more truthfulness took hold of Gourai as she professed her love for everyone, especially for Ao.
