Merlin cast a spell to make sure Ban and Meliodas' brawl didn't destroy the rest of the town.
Merlin and the other assembled 7 Deadly Sins warned Ban that they would stop him if he actually tried to kill Meliodas. They didn't need to worry.
Elizabeth got weak in the knees when Ban stole the crowd's strength to defeat Meliodas.
