Mark Cavendish beat Andre Greipel to the line in a photo finish at Stage 3 of the 2016 Tour de France. This victory was Cavendish's 28th Tour Stage win, tying Bernard Hinault's record. Both men are 2nd behind Eddy Merckx for most Tour Stage victories at 34.
