Yoshiko is at that awkward phase when she's embarrassed about her chuunibyou delusions, but she still can't help engaging in them.
Imagine if Rikka had a nico nico channel. Well, put your imagination away. Yohane the Fallen Angel has descended!
Yohane tells fortunes and tries to recruit "little demons."
However, she's aware of ridiculous she sounds and wanted to make a fresh start in high school, but she hasn't been back since her first day and her embarrassing introduction.
Yoshiko resolved to go back to school, but she so embarrassed by what she said in front of the class, she even did the chuunibyou roll.
Hanamaru grew up in a temple with elderly people. An automated hand dryer is definitely living in the future. This scene might just be the cutest thing I've seen this Summer.
Wonder of wonders! It's laptop able to access the vast ocean of information known as the "Internet."
They said she could touch it, so she touched the glowing button. Was it a bad thing that it was the power button?
The girls want to increase their School Idol ranking, but out in the "boonies" everything is "plain" and even an eccentric name like Five Mermaids isn't going to make them more interesting. Aqours is pretty weird enough.
Hanamaru convinced Yoshiko to come back to class. Yoshiko had her doubts, but she came to believe she could have another high school debut.
Yoshiko 2.0 started out so well, until she volunteered to do a little fortune telling.
Fortune telling for Yohane is srs bsns. No half-assing for the Fallen Angel.
Hanamaru should have stepped in earlier, but she took her minder role seriously too.
Not much has changed for "Yohane" since middle school, but Yoshiko is getting frustrated by those embarrassing habits.
The girls saw some of Yohane's video work, but only Chika seemed impressed.
Chika is an active idol recruiter. She must do a lot of creeping, er, scouting.
Yohane may be a deluded Yoshiko, but she has an excellent fashion sense. That skirt is still too short for Riko.
Gym shorts are not a solution for Riko's modesty, Chika!
You works fast. She's got goth-loli outfits for all the Aqours girls.
Yoshiko was skeptical, but she came to believe in Chika's opinion that an audience would fall for the charm of a Fallen Angel.
Riko really flips out over the attention Shiitake the dog would like to give her.
The girls were impressed. That flip gets a overall score of 9.8. Those Russian judges are hard to please...
Riko wants Shiitake on a leash the next time she comes over.
The girls tried to goose their ratings with a Yohane and the Little Demons intro video. Ruby was a big hit!
But Ruby's big sister had a different opinion. If someone knows what Mari means by "pretty bomber head" when she reacts to Ruby, please let me know.
Dia may be overprotective of her sister, but she was also mad because those kind of cutesy click-baiting videos only temporarily raise an idol group's rankings.
Hanamaru remembered how much stage presence Yoshiko had in kindergarten, so the Yohane character wasn't really at fault for their sudden drop back down the leader board.
Why does it always come back to running and chasing Yoshiko? She must like the attention. But they caught her and she officially joined Aqours.
