Finds from the Grind - Kilometer Zero of Amgen Tour of California

I modified my usual climbing route today just to add the first 2 kilometers of the Amgen Tour of California's 2nd stage. The start town is South Pasadena and the neutralized section is straight up the Arroyo north towards the Rose Bowl. The actual race start is right next to Brookside Park and continues up the west side of the Rose Bowl before climbing out through La Canada to Angeles Crest Highway. I was there about three hours before the pros were and you could already see the barriers getting set up.
