Filler within Filler Shippuuden continues. Tsunade continues to read Jiraiya's manuscript. The masked man's plot to discern the character of Konoha's new ninjas is slowly revealed.

I'm with Tsunade. There are some things in this story that I'm having a hard time swallowing too.
Sakura, in this timeline has already been training under Tsunade and does pretty well with her "shanarooo!" punch and isolating poison.
Right. In the middle of a rescue mission Jiraiya thinks he has time to train Naruto in the failed beast cloak technique. *Tsunade spit!*
Hey, Itachi sighting. Also, nice little flame ball Sasuke made.
I keep watching this made up story and it reminds me of Boggle, except all the letter dice are bits of the Naruto story, they've been jumbled up and we're left to make some sense out of the mess.
From what I can make out, the masked Hyuga, who I think is Neji's father, wants to see if the new ninja kids are less rigid with the rule of completing the mission by sacrificing your teammates. This has been done to death over the years, since it's central to how Kakashi is the bridge between generations.
Next time, I guess we'll deal with the aftermath of Naruto sporting 4 tails and going berserk. Tsunade's about to go berserk eating pickled plums and burning her mouth on hot tea.
