Heh.

The anime is really closing up all the earlier plot holes. When Naruto came back to save the village from Pain's attack, we saw Konohamaru using the Rasengan with Shadow Clones, albeit a little differently than how Naruto did. Who taught him that? When did that happen? Was Sexy No Jutsu involved? Well, all those questions were answered right here.

 

You see that crazy ranting Naruto in my profile pic? Now you know that I picked that up from Naruto Shippuuden Episode 1. Ah, bittersweet nostalgia.

 

The 3 elements of the Rasengan are rotation, power, and compression.

I liked Konohamaru's take on it.

 

I'm still not clear on why he took the Sexy no Jutsu all the way to compression part of the training, but apparently consulting the other rotation jutsu users like Kiba, Chouji, or Hinata wasn't enough for Konohamaru.

 

Naruto said that even an idiot could learn the Rasengan. That's exactly why Jiraiya chose it to teach him an S-Class technique.

 

Ha! Jiraiya may have been the world-class overt pervert, but Ebisu was the foremost closet pervert! He didn't even deny it!

Moegi lost a little respect for Ebisu. That's S-Class contempt in those eyes right there.

I don't know why, but every member of Konohamaru's team has their own version of Sexy no Jutsu. Even Moegi, the girl! Udon's version was little much for Iruka-sensei.

 

You know, Konohamaru didn't have to use Shadow Clones to complete his Rasengan. Naruto did that because that was his solution to everything. Still, Naruto didn't need the clone to hold the ball of chakra after he decided on its size. Konohamaru took a different tack by controlling it with his shadow clone. It was effective enough on that one Path of Pain during the destruction of the village.

 

Next time, we're back to Naruto facing Madara with his newfound powers. Sexy no Jutsu will not be a factor. At least not yet!
