More filler, er, anime-only retroactive longform flashbacks show how the 3rd Hokage's project of teaching Kakashi to prioritize his team members over the mission was a long term project.
It was clear that Rin loved Obito from the beginning. It was his own inferiority complex and rivalry with Kakashi that ever made him doubt that.
Well, who would win in a fight between the Yellow Flash and the White Fang? I only know some of Kakashi's dad's abilities from how Kakashi handles himself, but we know for sure that Minato was one of the ninja legends of all time.
Team Minato didn't finish up the odd-jobs around town so quickly because of their talent. It was because of Obito's network of old people! He was a magnet for them. No wonder he found old Madara in that underground chamber.
Found the cat and got sweets and snacks. That's how you complete a mission! I liked how Rin finally believed Obito about the old people he keeps helping.
Supposedly we're back to the main story after the resolution of this escort mission side story. For how long this time? Another half episode? Or are we going to jump back and forth between the two times to show how Kakashi and Obito regained their teamwork? They still have to figure out how to get 9-tails chakra inside Naruto when all Obito has is the 8 and the 1-tail. They can't think that adding 8+1=9 is going to do the trick. Team Guy with the Sage Tools better get there quick.
