10 Second Anime - Amagi Brilliant Park - Episode 14 [OVA]

Even with slight mishaps due to various circumstances, the staff at Amagi Brilliant Park still find the time to throw Seiya a surprise birthday party.

Heh.

Things appear to be running more smoothly at the amusement park since last we checked in, but a few slight wrinkles meant that there was no spare time to be care-free.

Take a deep soak, Isuzu. That was your last chance to relax for a whole day.

So, what were these wrinkles? The air conditioning was broken, so the non-magical people had to sweat it out, which lead to Seiya trying to find other places besides his office to work. And hilarity ensued, culminating in a disturbing scene in a bathroom stall.

Moffle had to take the new staff members to the preschool where those little monster children came from for some kind of yearly tradition. Oh, did they mention the tradition included a cage match with crazy koalas? Must have slipped through the cracks...

Now we know why those monster children were so adept at wrestling holds. And I was reminded of Akame ga Kill! for some reason too.

Muse's stiff neck added another wrinkle and Seiya's solution was to shift personnel around to handle different duties.

Ah, yissss! This is the kind of stuff OVA's were made for. Plus, the animators quadrupled down on Isuzu Elemantario cosplay!

All those legs belonged to Isuzu!

I most appreciated Isuzu's little twin ahoge getting swept backward to look like Salama's hair antennae.

Not enough Elemtario cosplay for you? How about all the other fairies wearing Muse's costume? Salama looked so happy!

Poor Muse, though. She thought she was going to have it easy sipping tea all day. Oh no. Princess Latifa somehow makes hundreds of potato croquettes all by herself. Just don't ask Latifa to answer the phone.

Amid all these wrinkles from substitutions (even Moffle's substitute had it rough), Macaron had a devil of a time organizing Seiya's birthday party.

It all turned out great in the end and everyone had a laugh at Seiya's embarrassed face.

Unfortunately, it didn't look like things had progressed very far between Isuzu and Seiya. Just enough, though, for her to give him his birthday present.

Even though those little monster children filled the box with dried bug skins, it was a great present. Isuzu had given Seiya the gift of time, in the form of a nice chime clock.

The party looked like a lot of fun too.

The OVA had the chance to touch on almost all of the little funny bits from the season, even the mother and son duo impolitely pointing out embarrassing situations.

And Sylphy was still Sylphy.

Congratulations, Seiya, on another productive year!
