Ange, Tusk, and Vivian end up in a world ruined over 500 years ago. They soon discover they are not from this world.

Heh.

This is the exposition dump we've been waiting for since the second episode.

 

A bit sad but not surprising that automated systems are keeping a quiet watch over mummified remains. They seemed well protected and supplied, so how did children end up dying in their mother's lap? Did those huge explosions kill only people but left the electronic systems intact?

 

Ragna-mail from Ragnorak. These Japanese love them some Norse mythology. There's got to be a big tree somewhere now.

 

Leave it to Vivian to concentrate on the important things after being stranded. Juice!

 

Har. A love hotel has to be the castle for a very important aristocrat, right?

 

Just to remind you during a very important scene that Cross Ange is *that* kind of show.

 

Well, I didn't need to be reminded. Now we know what Tusk sees all the time.

 

Yeah.

 

At least it only happened once, instead of the numerous times from the last time Tusk and Ange were the only people in a secluded area.

 

Aw. Tusk and Ange finally finished that kiss they started back then too.

 

How rude. To be interrupted by a pair of dragon girls just when things were getting good.

 

Hmm.

Vilkiss transported our heroes to the real world, the one that was destroyed by the Ragna-mail 538 years ago. Embryo has been busy with his little dimension since then, restarting the world numerous times, adding to the ranks of the Ancient People, the ones who survived each successive holocaust. I wonder if the noble families are the remnants of the original humans from the real world that Embryo may have brought over with him. This is all very interesting.

 

Next time, the dragon ladies will get a chance to tell Ange their version of events, how they see Embryo and why they keep trying to cross over. It also looks like the Libertas movement hasn't been operating with an idea of the full situation. I didn't see any men among the dragon ladies, so maybe Tusk is right in hoping for his harem dream to start soon. Ange doesn't like that idea, not at all.
