The students repel an assault team and prepare for evacuation. Tatsuya's friends find out about his secret identity as a military strategic asset. Miyuki releases Tatsuya's magical restraints so he can fight at full power.

I'm not going to lie. I got chills when Miyuki gave up her dream of a regular high school life and released Tatsuya's magic governors. The way Tatsuya bent down on his knee was like a knight receiving a special gift from his queen. The governors may have made Tatsuya the equivalent of a "Weed," but his mind was not blocked, which is why he was still the BAMF that he was.

Hah. Shut up, Jouji! Ain't got time for your sputtering!

I liked the kids' reaction to Tatsuya and Miyuki attacking and cleaning up after the intruders. "Hey, we can fight too!"

Now for a real magic trick: catching bullets in one hand.

Tatsuya's look at the shooter was classic. "Oh, you're still making noises with that hole in your face?"

He already caught one bullet, what will throwing a few more at him do?

Aw. Azusa is the president now. I don't know why a calming spell needs to be shot with a bow, but it looked like some bard-class skill.

We got to see Tatsuya and Miyuki do a nice tag team maneuver, using Tatsuya's remote sensing, and Miyuki's multiple target casting. The others, and even Juumonji got to show their own BAMFitude, but it's all stuff we've seen before. Except for Leo. He had to take a chill pill from Tatsuya before getting all shot up.

The difference in Tatsuya doing all the things we've seen him do before, is that he's doing it in front of witnesses. Mayumi was especially taken aback by seeing Tatsuya locate a target through many walls and reduce it to slag, while using his CAD only to do the shooting spell.

All these extra special things were adding up and it took the army coming in to retrieve their special officer to bring it all together.

"Hi! Kyoko desu!" Well, they are special forces. Some lack of decorum is to be expected. I liked how Tatsuya didn't salute until he was given the all clear to blow his cover.

It's all out in the open now, about how special Tatsuya is. Up until now, we've seen him MacGyver his way through rough spots by figuring ways around his limitations. But Miyuki knew that if he had to go up against unknown enemies in quantity and quality to protect the Magic Repository, he needed to be the walking nuke we saw in the first minute of this show.

BAMF Level Over 9000. Next time, Tatsuya suits up and takes on all those robots we saw being transported, and whoever else decides to join the party. We're going Full Metal BAMF!
