Locodol - Episode 10
The Nagarekawa Girls are invited to Locodol Festival. Nanako struggles with writing a new song. After sharing her feelings, the girls prepare their song for its first live performance.
Heh.
Nanako feels so normal. She struggles for days to write some lyrics to convey her feelings about how she loves Nagarekawa, but then the other girls do all the editing, music writing, and choreography in one day each.Yukari is sooo happy to go on a "deito" with her precious Nana-chan.
Yes, it's true. Nanako's friends have realized she's a masochist. How else to explain that Nanako thinks the most memorable parts of being a local idol are exterminating wasps, cleaning skyscraper windows, and mixing dangerous chemicals?
Ah, the glamorous life of a locodol.
If these are the only things Nanako can remember off the top of her head, it's no wonder she can write a song in ten minutes.
The quality showed itself...
I was going to make a montage cut of all the song writing collaboration, but I realized all the screen wipes handled that.
After Nanako and Yukari shared their feelings about the town and the fun they have with each other, Nanako was able to write some great lyrics. Presumeably. We'll have to wait until next episode to see all the hints put together for the music and dance routine. Nanako's friends gave pretty good advice when they read the 10 Minute Song version. She just wrote a list of the things they do, but she didn't write down how she felt while doing them. Another instance of the Japanese cliche "your feelings reached me."
That Yukari helped bring out Nanako's feelings must mean they were destined to write the song together, right?
That red string of fate imagery has to be adapted to sharing red earbuds.
Eh!?
Nanako's uncle wrote the Uogokoro-kun song when he was in college??!! And he looked like this when he did it?!The local government definitely picked the right man to start up the locodol project.
