Tour Tidbit du Jour - 7/26/2014
The last time two Frenchman stood atop the podium at the Tour was in 1984, when Laurent Fignon won over Bernard Hinault. Greg Lemond was 3rd that year. The last time any Frenchman was on the podium was 1997 when Richard Virenque placed 2nd to Jan Ullrich. This year, provided no mishaps happen on the last stage, Jean-Christophe Péraud of AG2R-La Mondiale and Thibaut Pinot of FdJ.fr will be 2nd and 3rd to winner Vincenzo Nibali of Astana.
