BAMF Trio gets their BAMF on. Tatsuya's old military buddies compare his actions to past performances. 1st Magic Specialty School wins.

Come on, Mikihiko. Did you really expect BAMF Number 1 to wear a ridiculous cloak too?

Hey Tatsuya, no pressure. It's not like the Princess asked you to win the match for her. Oh, oops. I guess she did.

Red Shirt for 3rd Magic Specialty School almost took out Mikihiko, but BAMF Number 3, 1st Magic's own Red Shirt took him down. That worked out nicely.

Mayumi was right. Tatsuya should have died. Maybe Juumonji knows more about Tatsuya than he's letting on with just trying to explain it away via Tatsuya's ninja skills.

They let Mikihiko have the BAMF music that Tatsuya usually gets when he's BAMF'ing out. Way to go, BAMF Number 2.

Har. Leon says the Prince's air bullets weren't as bad as catching a motorcycle in the chest.

Mikihiko thinks he's hanging out with monsters who catch motorcycles for fun, and walk around lip reading after busting an ear drum while the other guy is still lying in a heap. Roll with it, Mikihiko. This is Mahouka-verse.

BAMF Number 1.



I'm glad Tatsuya's old military buddies are watching the show, especially the scientist who tried to figure out exactly how much he could do. The snap of the fingers that almost took out the blimp above him, never mind the Crimson Prince, was done without a CAD. I like how they keep lamenting how handicapped he is by using those competition grade CAD's. Still, he had to use some of his ninja skills to play mid-air twister to shoot as many of Masaki's inadvertent air bombs as possible. I guess that Flash Casting is how he also started his self-restoration spell that we saw previously when Miyuki got mad at him.

BAMF Number 2.



Mikihiko got a chance to shine, using his ancient magic. Even controlling the grass to grab at the Cardinal's legs to keep in place long enough to get zapped by the lightning magic he used on the thieves, damn Mikihiko, you scary!

BAMF Number 3.



Leon went sword and board with his magical cloak. He also owned everybody with his detachable club. Plus, being a tank build, he can take a lot of punishment. He told Mikihiko that those attacks hurt, which is why it took so long for him to get up. Um, you weren't supposed to get up until you were in the hospital...

Hmm.

I'm glad my predictions from last week were both off. I forgot that you have to let the BAMF out. However, it does look like the Headless Dragon did strike, by overpowering Masaki's default setting on his air bomb magic. I want to interpret his reaction to all the spells triggering at once as surprise at how many there were, but it could also be surprise that he forgot about that lethal setting. I'm hoping on the former, and the Tatsuya-Masaki raid on the gang's headquarters happens next episode.

The head patriarch being in attendance might be letting too much out of the bag for Tatsuya and his family's circumstances. According to the old military buddies, Tatsuya is supposed to be only one of two secret national strategic assets. The wider Mahouka-verse is slowly cracking open.

Mikihiko needs to stop worrying about how tough Leon and Tatsuya are. He handled things well on the open field, with some timely teamwork. That's how a 3-man cell is supposed to do things.
