With Ivan Santaromita not starting mountainous stage 18, Orica-GreenEdge has only 2 riders left with 3 stages to go in the Giro. They are Canadian Svein Tuft and Australian Michael Hepburn. Incidentally, they are 3rd and 2nd to last on the General Classification, respectively, but would each have to lose over 10 minutes to the holder of the
maglia nero, Jetse Bol, the Dutch rider on Belkin.
