Encanto to East Fork

Encanto Park to the East Fork Bridge, and back again. There was one dude in red who passed me uphill twice. He had stopped at one point to consult a map, and then he took half an hour to catch me again. He was easily doing 4 mph faster than I was on the San Gabriel Canyon slopes, and I was already doing 10. When he passed me again, he said, "This road is a good one." And then, he was gone.
